Objectives of BVS 2025
1. Explore avenues for deeper scientific interaction between traditional practices / techniques and modern sciences to improve the understanding and effectiveness.
2. Showcase contemporary Indian scientific contributions to the society.
3. Promote development and communication of Science through regional languages.
4. Showcase grass root innovations made by artisans from different domains, farmers, fishermen and so.
5. Explore feasibility of using traditional science and technology to resolve contemporary issues.
The Journey of BVS
Since its inception in 2007, the Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan has evolved into a premier national platform, fostering a unique synthesis of traditional knowledge systems and contemporary scientific inquiry across India.

Bhopal (2007)
The journey begins with the first edition of BVS Sammelana in Bhopal.

Indore (2009)
The second edition was held at Indore.

Jalandhar (2012)
The third edition at Jalandhar, continued the growth.

Panaji (2015)
BVS organized its fourth edition at Panaji.

Pune (2017)
The fifth edition, organized in Pune, further expanded the reach.

Ahmedabad (2023)
BVS organized in Ahmedabad, marked a significant milestone.

Tirupati (2025)
The seventh edition is going to be organized at Tirupati.
